HAIRSPRAYFIREANDGIRLS was founded in December 2009 in sizzlin' hot Tucson, AZ, where yes, you actually can fry an egg on the sidewalk.  It's true.  We've done it.  Similarly, HSFG brought drummer Ernie Gardner, guitarist/Brian Eno lookalike Noah Gabbard, bassist Justin Lillie and singer/guitarist Joshua Levine together to treat listeners' ears like the aforementioned egg.  With a raw, kinetic postpunk indie rock sound, HSFG came running out of the gates to local and regional success.  Audiences frequently find themselves involuntarily dancing and singing lyrics louder than the band itself.  With their brand new album "I am.  And I've been looking for you.", HSFG are poised for large scale success if critics and fans have anything to say about the matter.
